    This article is for those who have phpMyAdmin access to their database. Note: use phpMyAdmin at your own risk. If you doubt your ability to use it, seek further advice. WordPress is not responsible for loss of data.

    If you lost wordpress password, you can reset wordpress admin password in one of these ways using 3rd party hosting:

    • change admin password wordpress by Quickinstall
    • Through the database you can manually decrypt wordpress password by using phpMyAdmin

    1. Begin by logging into phpMyAdmin and clicking databases.
    2. From the left panel list, Click on the WordPress database.
    3. All the tables in your database will appear. If not, click Structure then click wp_users from the left panel list then select user_login

      registered users. Click edit under the user whose password you wish to reset.
    5. Next to the user_pass is a long list of numbers and letters, clear the value
      on the far right and replace with what you would like the password to be, but remember, it is case-sensitive.
    6. Once you have done that select MD5 indicated in the Function drop-down menu.
    7. Check that your password is actually correct, and that MD5 is in the box. At the bottom right of the page, click GO.
